Rabbit Trails through History
Rabbit Trails through History has great books as the spine for each lesson. The list of books include many award winners and best sellers to make sure that your child is having quality literature read to them every day. (You can get all of the books in one convenient location inside of my Amazon Storefront!) There are 8 lessons, with each lesson meant to take two weeks, to make a 16 week semester long history curriculum. This curriculum is for all elementary and middle school children, which means that you can use it with multiple children in the same home- saving you time and money!
Charlotte Mason-inspired and relaxed in method, Rabbit Trails through History is rich in copy work and jam packed with historical information. In each lesson your child will write a quote from a famous person, have Bible verses available for memorization and copy work, learn poetry and about famous art, have hands on activities, and more. Each and every lessons includes copy work opportunities, a history lesson, some fun added in, and…
Rabbit Trails! This is the most exciting part of the entire curriculum. Within every lesson there will be a fun Rabbit Trail to go down to learn even more about America’s founders, important documents, and so much more. There will be additional books listed to read through the Library List, more hands on projects, and videos to learn about topics related to the Rabbit Trail.

What about a sample schedule? I created Rabbit Trails through History to not have any boxes to check- I want homeschool families to make Rabbit Trails fit into their everyday lives without stressing about what lesson needs to be done each day. However, I know some people like to have a lesson all laid out for them so they can envision how the curriculum will fit into their homeschool. I have attached a file that shows a sample schedule for one lesson to give you an idea of how I personally lay out the lessons in my own homeschool.
